Screw Time Warner! Had them for 10+ years and then they started raising their rates. Literally every month there would be a notice in the bill saying something was going up starting the next month. In 6 months the bill went up $57.00. We had the TV/Internet/Phone package and they wouldn't budge on price so I dumped them all.
Now we have DirecTV, AT&T phone and U-Verse for Internet. Total is $80 less a month, we have more HD channels and that includes NFL Network, etc. Perfectly happy.
The DTV DVR can record up to 6 shows at once, TW only 2, and you have to be watching one of them. And then, DTV is whole-house, meaning you can record from anywhere, watch from anywhere. TW you can only watch from the DVR you record from.
