-Well I got my Detroit Trutrac in. I found out that you're not supposed to use synthetic oil with these so I just got some good old Lucas 80/90 and filled her up. WOW what a difference! No clutch shuddder, no chirping, no drama. Smooth like an open carrier. Let the clutch out hard and you leave two identical patches of black!
-Now for the frustrating part. I went to get some grease for my new control arms and no one even close has the stuff needed. Upon purchase, Marc from SC&C neglected to tell me you need to use a non petroleum based grease for the rear control arms, that's compatible with polyurethane. Preferably silicone based grease. I was so mad I could have screamed. That wouldn't do any good so I ordered a few 14 oz bottles of "superlube" It's what Spohn and UMI recommend with their stuff. Marc was very hesitant to recommend a synthetic blend I could buy locally without seeing the ingredients and the only brand name I got out of him was "Superlube" so that's what I ordered. Ill probably get the arms in next weekend.
-I also pony'd up today and bought the SPC upper and lower A arms, shim kit, Howe tall ball joints with nascar screw in balljoints on the uppers, and coil springs. I'm holding off on the shocks to try and decide on Varishock or Ridetech single adjustable's. Ill just run the Bilstiens I have on there until springtime probably.
