Wow just when you think you might be on to something. You are correct. It looks like I have the 72 intake. Where you show six inches on your ruler I am only five. Anyone who has a 72 I think will tell us they have a completely different set up (this was used from 68 to 71). Now I am lost .I think I need to get one inch either out of the cable or somehow move that bracket back one inch if it is not bent. I did not do this swap so I have no idea what they did 20 years ago. I want to thank those who have tried to help me and if anyone has any ideas please chime in. I will take some more pictures tomorrow to compare to yours.. Thanks again Doug
