If you plan for mostly street driving, I have found very good daily driver performance from the Nitto 55's. I think they offer darn good wet road performance for a drag radial as I have been in numerous gully-washers common in our west Texas climate. They do need help on the track but I use traction compound for a little extra help there when needed. I have tried the BFG's and I think the Nittos are better all around. I haven't tried the MT's but looking at the tread, I am concerned about wet weather performance. I have Nittos on two of my cars for every day driving but do keep a set of slicks on spare wheels for a just-in-case.
