I dont think black is rare..ive sent 3 to the crusher...today they would probably be builders..back then they where so ruff they got parted..ive seen 4 or 5 converts black, and at least 10 black hardtops in Junkyards...
I think the combination of black with trips and a 4 speed is just desirable..id rather have mariner turquois..but no one asked me..lol
