I briefly corrisponded with the owner of a '79 w/231 a decade ago on the GrandAmRegistry website. Said car resided in northern Indiana at the time.
That was the first I'd ever heard of a V6 2nd gen Grand Am.
Even more surprising is that total V6 production was 37% more than 4bbl 305.
<edit> I just noticed there are no 305 2bbls listed in that breakdown. Maybe that was a '78 only engine.
Diego, can you come up with the same breakdown for 1978?
