Excellent addition to the vintage thread, and family history too.
I noticed the date of letter written (April 18, 1938) and the 'expiration date' (June 30, 1938) of 'master staus' is very short time-frame; less than six months. Heck, less than a business quarter. So...according to the letter, she'd have to continue to receive these for a later time 'two year' spiff.
Wonder what, if any, the backstory is on the dates? And if this is an error; or they were really that stingy with the 'master' designation?
