Not only are your comments relevant regarding business letter construction and grammar but I thought this document was insightful with regard to how my alma mater felt about its students, their appearance and (foremost) their relationship with the corporation.

Thanks for posting that letter. My dad was a pretty strict disciplinarian who instilled in me an appreciation for clear communications. I still keep a Harbrace College Handbook and a Webster's II New Riverside University Dictionary on my credenza in my office. I find myself using them both very often.
