that's sacrilegious.....a Pontiac with all that torque and no violent downshifts is against some kind of law I think!!

That's great you were able to replace the core without too much grief, what a time capsule that car is, seems like every square inch of it is pretty much untouched from the factory!

Now get out there and punch it from a 30mph roll and make sure that never been used downshift switch is still functional, of course watching carefully for any trick or treaters.
