It's a four door, six cylinder. The reason it might be rare is because no one wanted a four door, six banger with a bench seat in 1967. If you showed up at a stop light back in the day with this car, especially with that stupid looking scoop and ugly mags, you'd get laughed off the street. I'm not saying a Pontiac six is bad; Nor am I saying a four door is the worst; A bench seat can have it's merits too. But be honest, if you were buying a new Pontiac in 1967, would you order a four door, six cylinder with a bench, or a two door v-8 with bucket seats and a center console? Rare does not always equal valuable or desirable.
All that aside, in present day, I cannot see how it could be worth $7k under any circumstances. I would consider buying it for $2500 tops, if it were clean and original. In its present condition, he should take a zero off, $1500 tops.
