Seriously you will not be unhappy with a 326. They run cool and last forever! If you were closer, I would unload the wagon and take you for a hell ride. You would swear its bigger and has more power then a 326.

Mine only had a lifter tick when I pulled it back in 1987 with almost 300,000 miles. They do run forever. Could likely have installed lifters and kept going for the other 100,000 miles (and beyond) that I have put on the car since then. Wanted to go the "easy" high powered route back then and installed the 455.
