the blue pumps weren't made or recommended for long time use like street driving, they were known back i n the day as a race piece, YES... i know many have not had issues on the street, and yet some have... guess it all depends
i ran a red pump for years, no problem
i run the HP150 and i will admit, that is pretty darn quiet and i have no issues with it
about as quiet if not more quiet than the red i had
