Thanks Eddie for the kind words. We really like putting on the event, but it is a lot of hard work for Dan, Lyndon, and I. If you come to the race this year you'd be surprised by all the gray hair running around the pits and in the staging lanes. I guess we're all old men now-a-days, but still kids at heart. These cars keep us young.
If you rebuilt your 455 HO to stock specs (as close as possible), you'd be surprised how quick your TA would run. Mid 13's @ 105 with 3.42 gears and hauling 4000 lbs is easy to do with careful attention to detail. I have to warn you...once you do race, you'll be hooked hard and want go faster and eventually build another car for the race, so you have to be careful, real careful.
