I have never been a big autograph hound. I think the American fascination with them is that for a moment in time, that famous person had their attention on you. Same as having a picture taken with a famous person. I would almost rather have the picture..

I would never stand in a long line or pay for an autograph, not my idea of a good time.

Over the years I have collected a few with Reggie Jackson being the most notable.
