If all that is true, the only downside I can see would be someone adding conventional coolant at an oil change, or needing to add on the road if a leak develops. I have not had any overheating issues in the past, but regular requires replacing every 2-5 years as regular maintenance.

I use filtered or R.O. Water and HyperKuhl :
http://www.no-rosion.com/hyperkuhlcoolant.htm. The only downside is there is no antifreeze in it, it is a coolant only. If we have a sustained freeze in the low 20's to high teens I'll drain it.....
