I know that every time I pull the motor, or change cams, or even change radiator hoses, I lose a little coolant. If I was positive that I was never going to get into the motor again, I would consider Evans if it was more easily available, and didn't mind carrying a couple gallons around all the time 'just in case' of trouble on the road.
I don't know if the benefits outweigh the costs, especially considering the incompatability with water when away from home. There is a lot to say for the convenience of being able to just add water when out on the road.
For the strip, I still don't know if tracks would allow it.
