none for sale here got way more than that in them. and they are only worth the stated price ranges. That was a 20-25k car, and that's what it sold fror maybe a little more, we'll never know.
So there ya have it. Beautiful cars, rare, difficult to restore, usually pretty loaded with options (cha ching for resto) hard to find and everyone wants one.
they are not for sale because we love them, otherwise we would not bother to restore them. They are financial disasters to restore. Who can afford that? So why give them away for $20-25k? Or even $40k. No mine would be about $100k each for the restored cars. STUPID MONEY. Nobody has that for an SSJ. They should go for something red, Italian and with at least 4 valves per cylinder.
What is the highest selling SSJ ever? Harv, what did the silver car do at auction? It was George Hurst's personal car with his name etched it the door glass. Only silver car. Should be a $150k car right? Harv, chime in....
