Their rims fit. There is plenty of room for them in the rear too. Only way I can see there being an issue is if you have aftermarket disc brakes on the rear that push the wheel offset out towards the wheel well. Then the 9" wide rims could get close to rubbing the outside lip.

But on a stock rear end, drum brake 66/67 GTO, no problem with either size.
66' and 67' have a different stock rear axle width
