I have put both the Crane and the Pertronix conversions in my cars and others . Had no problems with either . The new Pertronix Ignitor III is the newest one out there. It has the rev limiter like the Crane and is easy to install and does not have the plastic ring like the older versions and is easy to instal . Just remove the points and put it in . Just make sure you ask for the Ignitor III as some places are still selling the Ignitor II and not selling the new one yet. .
