used to pick up all these I could find in the wrecking yards, kind of hit and miss. as I remember, most auto camero's had them. as far as firebirds, 70-74 Trans Am, approx. same for Formulas had them, base and Espirit not sure, most I saw didn't. past 74 the only ones I have seen were the W72 cars starting in 1977(200 @ 220 HP), 79 TATA cars, Turbo, and Turbo pace cars. so the performance cars from the later years.

bought a 74 TA off of a guy years ago. during the test drive I used the slap during a shift. the guy had owned the car for years and didn't know it would do that.
