Decided to pull my finger out and make up a new cam sensor for my coil per plug setup now. I didn't want to hack up the MSD distributor as I can easily convert it back to a normal dist for someone and it's still in great condition.
Anyhow, I took 1 small body points mallory distributor, gut it, threw all of the guts in the bin, machine the steps and raw casting out on a lathe, modified the shaft so that where the advance weight spring anchors off one of the pins, linish that so it's a 1/8" flat now to acts as the pickup for the MSD magnetic sensor. Add an 0.491" BOP gear, make a top plate and we are away!
