When I was a kid it was amazing.
Daytonas and Superbirds in the showrooms to make them race cars.
Real cars that looked like real models.
Even TA/SCCA had real looking models.
It was awesome.
Then all the homo, pansy, draft dodging, crap car driving boomers ruined things for others of their generation and those that followed.
I doubt anyone that bought a GTO new when he graduated from high school grew up wanting a society that drugged its boys into submission in school, gave everyone a trophy for showing up, etc.
