I wonder if anyone has measured a chamber on a stock 11 head???

I did a bunch of Jim Hand port work on my 11's (before I knew who Jim Hnad was...) My car runs fairly well w/ the 350, I'm plotting something larger, here soon...

There's lots of options in engine builds. I like to gather a "perfect storm" of parts, that will allow for a great running engine, something that will leave the bystanders scratching their heads, even if it's a 350, for now!!! Larry has done a lot of things to Pontiacs. A lot a absolute proven parts selections have proven be make great running engines, but there are other ways to get there, Larry's been there!!!

Valley pans and pushrods can be hot tanked, but make sure you check the pushrods for straightness (in a cordless drill) and blow anything that's in them, out. The hot tank will clean the valley pan, but you may need to go to a lot of trouble to get the leftover gunk out of it, after, it's been hat tanked. Remember to scrub every engine part w/ hot soapy water, and bathe everything in oil before assembling. If part of the engine is not clean enough to eat off of, it's NOT clean enough!!
