...trust me, that thought crossed my mind...I do not understand as the hole does not take a regular size bolt...and it looks as though its never had a bolt in it..the assembly manual calls for a 1 3/8 bolt..I am like where do I get this..for laughS I remove the rear water neck bolt...guess what?!..its 1 3/8...I can get a repop kit from Inline Tube that also includes the correct slotted nut for threaded water neck stud...I have the original alternator #matching....NJSTEVE, you once posted a photo of your rear alt. bracket bolt removed with the spacer...a measuring tool was in the photo...I have looked at every thread and cannot find that photo...if you could find that and repost it here it would be much appreciated....BOB, according to the assy. man...you need a 5/16-18-1 3/8 bolt,lock washer 5/16 and a flat washer 5/16 ID X3/4 OD...and a spacer 11/32..when I get my parts I will post pics..not certain how this will all work out
