Hey if you have an automatic, that wire hanging down on drivers side of tranny, assume it's a th400. is for the kickdown...passing gear. I believe behind the gas pedal area is the switch that sends down the pedal information to tranny.. is the driver's foot into it, can we / should we pass. Does it have a weird plastic clip on it that's kinda rectangular?
My friend's car is a 350 and he put a ram air iv type cam in with stock rockers and low compression, his 350 was not super impressive nor would it idle very well. It took forever and countless shops to get it to act like a normal engine. anyway not sure if you know the camshaft that's is it, and if you don't you can check max lift by using a test. that's another conversation.
yes gotta pass the inspection, always a pain in alberta, but much easier than being in BC!!!
