The oil pump mounting ears are not flat. How is the bolt supposed to clamp good if it's mount is not flat? Been seeing this a bit too much lately. Had to clamp it in the mill and cut it flat so the bolt would fit nice and flat. Can't believe Melling lets them go out like this. They didn't used to be like this. Makes me wonder if they are casting them in China now. Just saying, maybe.
