when I do my 74 NOM SD I am going to use the stock SD block +.030, forged crank, after market rods, stock heads, stock 7044270 carb, but 2.5 RARE manifolds, and a hydro roller cam. also will add a 3.42 instead of the 3.08. I also have a pair of widened honeycombs that will rum 295x50x15's on the rear.
if and when I sell it, the stock rods, crank, cam can go with it and if the guy wants to return it to stock he can.
now, if I find the matching motor that was pulled in Cincy, Ohio 20 years ago (because the new owner didn't want that low compression piece of crap and put in a 70 455, his words not mine) I might change my mind.
