funny guy you are NJSteve... I still say the quartz clocks are the way to go.. I bet 9/10 of these original clocks either don't keep time or need working on.. the quartz movement will give easily another 15-20 yrs trouble free use and at a very small cost.. I get it.. you spent a bunch of time getting that one working again.. The $80 DIY kit I bet would have been much cheaper vs the hrs you spent getting that original working again.. Just my opinion.. and a lawyer? keeping up on arguing skills? go figure..take care..
