What should it have looked like? There is some type of fiber type panel between the two roof layers, but no sign of any insulation ever having been attached to the inside of the inner roof? It's too late now and.....

It's going good. He's in the stretch, examine, re-stretch, steam, examine, and re-stretch phase. He's never done a Pontiac F-body before. Plenty of '67 to '69 Camaro's, but no second gen Firebirds. Apparently the retainer clips for the headliner bows are somewhat unique to the Firebird, and while he was figuring that out I was getting a little scared. However, I fixed him some boneless bbq pork ribs for lunch and since then he has come on strong. It's getting nice and tight. Just the way we like it...
