A member in the local Pontiac Club contacted or was contacted by them for a (staged) "car show"....at least two years ago.
I sent some pics of a fresh painted Judge I owned at the time and a NYC Casting Producer (I think his title was) for the show and I started communicating.
He did a few other production /castings for well known "reality shows"...LA I.nk I remember was one.
They wanted me to have the car repossessed at a (staged) "car show" and then a fight ensues. I was thinking about doing it only because my young son was in my vehicle when he called and I had him on speaker phone and he got excited about it. I though it would be fun for him to experience the "show" making aspect of it.
Turns out they would not let him on the set due to him being a minor and insurance binder rules, and it would have been an all day event, having to drive 45 mins or more for some space they had found for the "car show".
I asked the guy: what car show have you attended where you don't see kids?...lol
When I said I wasn't interested, he asked if I would be "the friend" that tries to jump in on the tow truck driver repopping my "friends" car.....but wasnt interested. They found a local owner of a Cobra I recall, but not sure if he did it.
Busy at work, so it wasn't worth missing an income producing day for a free T Shirt and free BBQ at the event...I never watched the episode, and don't watch the show.
They do film around this area though....and have a "real" business lot and office building with sign over in "Liz.ard Lick". They do promo appearances also for $...also.
