My car has had a VFN Fiberglass nose since 1992/93. Has Held up great with the consideration of around 12,000 street miles and probably close to 150 1/4 mile drag runs. It has shown NO signs of stress , cracking or fatigue. This is a 12.3 @108 mph car , that is no slouch in the corners either, full Poly Suspension , body mounts, ect... No rubber left in my car besides the tires.
Being that you are going to Paint the parts anyway ....... For the Quite a diffrence in Price between carbon VS fiberglass .... And the Little Bit of Weight savings between CF vs. Fiberglass, I would say it all on bragging rights and how deep your pockets are.
