Your odds are very good, but I did have two pre-1970 cranks that were not machined for a pilot bearing. I didn't discover the first one until the engine was in the car, so I had a bushing turned down to fit. After that I checked all of my cranks, and I had one other one that got machined before I assembled the engine.
