The lift is nice for a lot of things, but I can't imagine not having it to do the sanding and buffing.
Ok, the last thing that got buttoned up today was the installation of new rocker panel molding. The new ones are NOS pieces that cost more than they should have. They were much rougher than I had hoped given their NOS status, but after some sanding and polishing they look really nice. A huge improvement over the battle scarred molding they replaced. I would love to see some the new repop rocker molding for comparison. I doubt the price difference for the NOS was worth it, but maybe...Have I mentioned that I am looking for body side molding?
