Mine had 297,000 miles on it when I sold it and was very fast for a 4500 lb car. These Fleetwoods came with the same 260 HP LT1 as did the Impala SS and the 9C1 cop cars. Unlike the Buick Roadmaster and the Olds Vista Cruiser, they only had the 230 HP LT1.

i was gonna say i have owned my 96 cappy for 11 years and i love it..best engineered full size car gm ever made imo. i know the opti can be a weak spot, but mine lasted 120k and i replaced with a gm, same with the belts and water pump..i did a few tasteful mods to mine and it really woke it up. im happy with it--too bad gm didnt keep making the b body for a few more years--we would have had the LS motor in them--now that would have been a sleeper!
