In 2007 - U.S. auto sales totaled just over 16 million units. We all know what happened in 2008 when sales plummeted by nearly 3 million units. In 2009 sales fell by almost another 3 million units.
However - since 2009 - sales have increase each year by significant margins. In 2013 - sales surpassed what was sold in 2007 and 2006.
In 2014 - sales are up over 2013.
Now I am not familar with the overall worldwide car sales. But he does alude to the problem in the U.S. also - which is patently false.
So I am going to theorize that this is just his conspiracy theory....
