One thing you'll find when asking about cars here (or on just about any car board) is that people are always going to say it's not worth the price...if it was a Ferrari selling for $100, someone would still say it was too much.
Note that $9000 Canadian is about $8300 US, so it's not quite as expensive as it may seem. If the GTO style front end is documented original to the car that will add some value as it's pretty rare and desirable, and if it is in fact a rust free car that's a big plus as well. However, without seeing it in person it's impossible to say if it's really worth the asking price or not.
