BOYD family is from Henderson, and also had a Pontiac dealership....6-7 hours apart on opposite ends of the State.
BLEEKER PONTIAC (?) out of Fayetteville ....few others come to mind, but would have to check some of this old dealer stuff I have stashed away.

My guess is the Ultimate GTO listing is correct.
There was indeed a Boyd Pontiac-Cadillac dealership in Hendersonville, NC. It started as a Pontiac dealer in 1948 and added Cadillac and Buick by 1960. The following is taken from a history of Hendersonville:
"However, of the new automobile-oriented ventures, perhaps the most notable survivor is the Art Moderne Boyd Pontiac-Cadillac Company (HN 110) automobile showroom, located north of the business district on the Asheville Highway."
The Charles Boyd Pontiac in Henderson, NC I believe is unrelated and may not even have been established during the GTO era. From what I can tell, it was formed in 1980. Dealer codes were revised at some point I think in the late '70s and if this dealership didn't exist in the '60s or '70s, chances are it did not have a Dealer Code belonging on the list.
