So I was worried about the roof and with good reason. - wow. I dropped all the way down to 1000 grit, then 1500, then two passes with 2000 grit, then 3000, and finally 5000. I almost got all the acid rain etching, but not all of it. I really wanted to go back and sand some more, but I was afraid of pushing my luck. It looked so damn good, despite the remaining flaws, and I had sanded so aggressively, I was afraid that the last 5% of perfection would cost me a big sand through blow out. The right side was worse than the left. Seemed like it must have been in a carport with the right exposed and away from the house. Here's the before and post sanding photos.
