'ric.. I agree that semi gloss lacquer black is correct. I did this work for Chad,I bet every bit of 4-5 years ago. It wasn't until a couple years back that I finally "saw the light" on the masters having black paint originally.So that grey color is my bad,not Chads.. Chad you should hit it with a single coat of black. It still has the plastic port covers I sent,just turn it upside down, and spray it.Wouldn't worry about using a rattle can on this part, get semi lacquer from NAPA or similar place..
