When you paint the master, just take some blue painters tape, place over the flats where the ports are, and then paint it. Many think GM machined those flats after painting, even heard hotshot professional restorers say this. My take is they didn't do machining after painting. I think the master cylinder was machined,ports assembled then to protect the ports from getting paint they put tape over the flats,which is why we all see originals with that flats unpainted.

Use Aero Propellar in Blooomfield Colorado for your cadmium plating. Ask for Chris.. His work is what is on your brake booster, really does great work. I have silver parts he did 4-5 years ago and they still look perfect..
