Are those T-10s hard to find? I'm not going to make this into a race car, it will probably be all stock except for the 3x2. I would prefer to get one I can rebuild myself.

T-10s aren't hard to find, just not cheap. Remind me, is this a stick or automatic car?
Also, if you stay with the '62 engine, there are transmission adapter plates out there that allow you to run a TH400 tranny.
