'81 switch: black is ground, dark green is the intermittent signal, gray is high, pink is the wash signal, and purple is low.

which means that on the '70 switch, black is low, lt blue dbl blk is high, and dark blue dbl white is the wash signal.

So I think I know now which jumpers need to be made from the '70 switch plug to the '81 switch, and of course the ground lead for the '81 switch and the additional wire for the intermittent.

I'll try and get this mocked up in the next few days and report.

If anyone sees anything I'm missing or that I've incorrectly deducted, please speak up.
So at the end of the day, you're hoping to have WSW that will have the intermittent function, and a switch that fits where the factory switch fits ? That's a great idea, keep us posted for sure.
