Did some checking, and I believe you are correct!

They have "1 18 83" stamped on the part that the tire covers, and made in USA. The also have some SFI spec stickers. Chrome is remarkably good for '83. They have a 4 1/2" spacing from the hub surface to the outer rim edge. I think they will be a good fit. Now I need to decide size for these rims. Probably a 235 60-15, or maybe a 215 up front and a 255 out back. Hmmm...

The made in USA thing was kinda weird, as I was reading that production sometime in the 80's had shifted to Japan. I like 'em.
