Hi GTO Ron, From past posts on this subject, I will bet your cable is for a 4V. They are 1 inch longer than the 3X2 cable. I am surprised Ron Cuzzo has not already posted this. He fought the same problem during his resto. the 3X2 cable is 17 3/4 and the 4V is 18 3/4. Also the plastic cable cover at the carb end should be a grayish color, not blue or red. Hope this helps.
