Didn't happen at my house.

My (then future) wife set a McDonalds cup on top of the Chevelle on our first date. I yelled at her and she was abit taken aback. She's never forgotten it and it still comes up on occasion. Seems to have turned out ok, though, since that was 36 years ago.

I was probably 40 before I realized you could touch the exterior of a car with your bare hand and not cause it to crumple into a pile of paint chips. Probably about the same time I realized I could touch the thermostat and get away with it.
