To me if the engine has the heads and intake, that's good enough. To find a complete V motor is a tall order and bordering on impossible...but not impossible. The last complete V I saw sold for $25K, And I don't think it had the correct carb.[/QUO
I personally haven't heard of a set of heads and intake for 10k in probably 10 years or more.
