I bought a disc brake conversion kit for my 1963 Pontiac LeMans from Ben’s Classic Car Parts.
My car was one of the first four test vehicles for the BCCP Brakes Tempest & LeMans Front
Disc Brake Conversion Kit.

The first design kit had a little bit of a clearance problem with the caliper. I contacted BCCP and explained the problem. The customer service was fantastic! I spoke personally with Ben, who is the owner. I was quite impressed at being able to speak with the owner right off. He was very helpful and gave me no excuses. He got right to work on the problem. During the time they were doing the redesign, I received several calls updating me on the progress.

When the problem was resolved, he shipped me the revised kit and a shipping label to return the first kit, all on his dime, which I appreciated greatly.

The brake kit is outstanding, all the major components were well machined, every piece needed for the installation was there right down to every nut and bolt; brake hoses, bearings, seals, just everything.

The installation was a breeze. Everything fit perfectly. There were no problems with the process.
No special tools were needed, just the regular tools I use anytime.

I would recommend Ben’s Classic Car Parts to anyone looking to upgrade their classic car brakes-steering-suspension. They are very easy to work with and extremely helpful if you have a question. I called them several times for info on other things, and they always had time to talk with me.

When they get their design completed for rear disk brakes for a 1963 Pontiac LeMans, I’ll be back. Most people don’t realize it, but a 1963 Pontiac LeMans is a whole different animal. I have spent the better part of two years trying to find a disc brake setup for this car. I couldn’t even find brake drums for this car.

Ben’s Classic Car Parts has basically put me back on the road. I have not been able to drive this car much because the brakes were so bad. When i was looking for brake drums, I used the internet and called I don’t know many junk yards all over the country trying to just find drums. I can now feel confident while driving my Classic Pontiac with the installation of a Disc Brake Conversion from BCCP Brakes.

Thank You!
