Dennis your annual trip will be a historical story for gens to come. What you did was enjoy that car to its fullest and my hat is off to yah.
On the note about being a contender with my old ride is a hard if not impossible call. One can no longer obtain original GM parts of that quality let alone correct in date codes, product numbers... It just isnt possible in todays day and age period.
