I used the wallace racing comp ratio calculator and it came up with 10.4 compression ratio as well. below is what I input into the calculator

Are you accounting for piston volume (reliefs), gasket thickness and diameter? I get 9.4-9.5:1 SCR, depending on what head gasket you use.
