I hope to present my 56 sometime....no my thread isn't dead. I'm going to pick up the straight axle Tuesday. I'm just taking my time since there isn't much to go by on Pontiac's. Bill above is one of the few with much experience.
My cam came in the other day so I should be able to update the engine back together this week. Some of the bits got painted this weekend. I'm about a step away from hacking the frame off from the steering box forward. (for a reason).
